Lyric Creative Learning

Teachers, Schools & Agencies

The success of our projects is largely dependent on our partnerships with schools, colleges and the children and young people’s workforce.

For Teachers and Tutors:

Open to all schools, colleges and HE institutions, Lyric Interactive gives educational groups several ways to engage directly with some of the most innovative and imaginative practitioners working in theatre, offering valuable insights into the Lyric’s unique brand of theatre. From in-house residencies to teacher training, click here to download the latest Teacher’s Newsletter and find out what we’re offering this term.

For the wider Children and Young People’s Workforce:

Projects in Lyric West aim to provide young people with a ‘ladder of opportunity’, enabling participants to continue to develop their skills by participating in a variety of projects over time – whether these are ‘soft’ skills such as increased confidence and self-esteem or more ‘hard’ outcomes. Projects engage participants using a variety of artforms, from street dance, poetry and lyrics to drama and singing. We work with range of young people from gifted and talented students, to young people with complex needs and self-esteem issues, to those who are not in employment, education or training (NEET) or are at risk of becoming NEET.  Many of these projects also give young people the chance to work towards achieving a nationally recognised qualification.
